I’m drawn to the quiet power of creating, turning blank spaces into something meaningful. I’m Tina Nguyen, a mural artist, illustrator, and entrepreneur who believes art is most impactful when it reflects real stories, real people, and real intention. My work is rooted in presence, thoughtful detail, and bringing something new into the world.

My mural journey began in 2018 in a small studio apartment, where I painted my first mural on my own door and started what would become a global brand from the ground up. Along the way, I grew into a content creator, YouTuber, and storyteller. Now, through XXL Studios, I’m returning to mural art with renewed clarity and carrying everything I’ve learned into a more intentional, creative chapter and finally chasing my long-awaited childhood dream of being an artist.

MY ARTISTIC STYLE

FINE LINES for A BIG IMPACT

My style is defined by contrast, using fine linework and thoughtful detail to create work with strong impact. That philosophy is rooted in my earlier entrepreneurial chapter, where our mindset was “go big or go home”. I carry that same approach into my artwork today, pairing subtle, hand-drawn elements with bold scale and intention to create pieces that feel both delicate and powerful.

Formerly known as

XXL SCRUNCHIE

XXL Scrunchie began in 2019 as a small, handmade idea and grew into a multi-seven-figure e-commerce brand recognized for it's bold designs and community-first approach. What started as a Christmas gift I made for my cousin in 2019 evolved into a family-run business as seen on Dragons’ Den, reaching customers around the world. Building XXL Scrunchie taught me invaluable lessons about creativity, resilience, scaling a brand from my 400 sq ft apartment to a 4000 sq ft warehouse. An experience I put on pause in January 2026 that will forever continue to shape how I approach my work today.
